Core Values

Main principle: דרך ארץ קדמה לתורה

Derech Eretz (Lit: the way of the land = being a human being) preceded the Torah.

BUILD
YOURSELF

Develop & Lead with your strengths. Acknowledge your weaknesses

BUILD
YOUR NATION

Take responsibility. For yourself and for others.

BUILD
A GROWTH INTELLECT

Life is full of tests and challenges. Not with problems.

BUILD
YOURSELF THROUGH TANACH

The Torah is not a religion. It provides a framework for our national and individual way of life. The nation comes before the individual.

ABOUT ILEAD

ILEAD is an immersive five-week leadership journey in Israel for rising high school seniors. The program challenges participants, known as Pioneers, to discover who they are, push beyond their limits, and develop the confidence to lead with purpose.

Through intense physical experiences, team-based challenges, and reflective learning, Pioneers build resilience, empathy, and a deep sense of responsibility to themselves and their community. Each participant is encouraged to embrace their individuality while contributing to the collective strength of the group.

For over fifteen years, ILEAD has been shaping future leaders of the Jewish community. Young adults return home with a stronger sense of identity, lifelong friendships, and the tools to make an impact that lasts well beyond the summer.

The Program
ILEAD is a ive-week summer program in Israel focused on leadership, resilience, and self-discovery. Pioneers engage in demanding physical challenges, such as mountain climbs and extended hikes, while developing teamwork, mental stamina, and open-mindedness through group discussions and reflection. To be a Pioneer is a privilege and we encourage only those that want to be challenged and are looking for growth to apply.
